Light The Night is a for profit corporation that holds several different types of events all over the country and expanding to around the world. We started May of 2018 as a legal LLC, and advanced into a S Corporation.

We hold several different types of events from Sky & Water Lantern Festivals, Music Festivals, Fun Runs, Challenge Courses, And a Lantern Walk for victims of gun violence and other forms of violence.

We’re a for profit company that has chosen to use some of our profits to give to causes when we find a non profit that fits our requirements. We also give to individuals personally who are in need of help. 

Not For Profit Requirements;

1. 85% of all donations must go to the direct thing your charity claims it’s taking money for. Founder or Employee salaries are not the cause. No Exceptions
2. You must have your previous 3 years of tax filings uploaded to your website for everyone to view.
3. You must not have ever refused to provide tax filings to citizens when asked to view the. By law you must provide them when asked within 30 days.
4. You must provide us with the previous 10 years of tax filings to view to check for wasteful spending.
5. If your board of officers, CEO, or any employee owns a business that would be receiving your funds, you will not be given a donation by us.
6. If you wasted money on copyrights you do not meet our requirements.
7. If you appear to be trying to gain a monopoly as a non profit concerning charities, you do not qualify.
