Light The Night is a legally registered for profit live event company and has been in business since 2018. The website we were slowly moving away from https://www.lightthenightevents.com was just stolen from us by the scam cancer org the leukemia & lymphoma society. Yes I did say stolen. It was stolen with the help from icann and wipo. wipo violated our right to due process by not informing us that the scam org was trying to take our website. After further investigation after we discovered it had been stolen, we discovered the scam org has donated to the chair member of Icann’s, employer, the university of Maryland which is listed in the tax filings for the leukemia & lymphoma society. They claim we violated a copyright, except they do not and did not have a copyright on the name for events.
The scam org used balloons until after we, Light The Night, was created and they then changed to paper balloons attached to a stick their walkers carry in their hands, that cannot float into the sky, are NOT like hot air balloons, and NEVER leaver their walkers hands. They changed because they want to take over our name to take over sky lantern festival events. They’re already violating charity laws by holding their own events and lying saying they pay someone else on their tax filings which they do not. We’ve obtained their previous event images that shows the use of balloons not sky lanterns. After we released our official event merchandise such as t-shirts, their attorney at venable quickly filed to gain a copyright under our name under goods, jewelry, and tried then to bully us out of business, we stayed open, so they began sending their people to buy and dispute to help force us out of business and bankrupt. we stayed open, our owners moved and closed registration in one state and reregistered in another as a corporation never closing and not renaming. We created several new companies legally registering all of them. Changing the name on a Facebook account is not changing a corporations name lmao.
We didn’t know they were wrongfully given the copyright. They didn’t file a copyright for services as an event company because a not for profit cannot hold its own events. We just recently noticed and that the copyright is up for renewal and for such they must show that it’s incontestable which they cannot because we exist and so do other businesses under the same name including a church named light the night. We are contesting the copyright, filing for our own, and will be filing a lawsuit against ICANN, wipo, two cows, and the scum scam leukemia and lymphoma society for theft, and civil rights violations as they violated our legal right to due process concerning our domain www.lightthenightevents.com they’re currently redirecting to their scam .org we’re filing to take.
